1:30 - Set-up Field, place flags and ropes around the field

2:00 - Players should be at the field ready to start warm-up

2:00 - Kick-off for Boys Central vs Karns High School on Covenant Field.

3:00 - Kick-off for Boys Powell High School vs Farragut High School on National Guards Field

4:00 - Kick-off for Girls Bearden vs Karns High School on Covenant Field.

News Highlights:

Saturday Feb. 18: Sammy Anderson, a former Central HS player, now playing with Life University Men's team in the Super League came and ran practice at Powell. Take a look at some cool pictures and comments on the Practice with Sammy page.

Tuesday February 7th: Sign ups at Powell High School was a success! A total of 13 players signed up at the high school.

Thursday February 9th: Parents Meeting at Powell High School. 8 parents participated in the meeting, representing 10 players of the High School Team.

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4pm until 6pm.

Powell v Central: Powell wins 24-21 !

Powell High School wins over Central Saturday Feb. 25th in their first season's game. An intense game where the excitment of Powell players demonstrated a physical Rugby game. Powell scores first toward the end of the first half with a try from Rick Samson (his first Rugby try) and converted by Hayden Williams. Central  quickly responds with a converted try.

In the beginning of the second half, Powell's quick game leads them to score 2 other tries, one by Adam Finger under the posts (converted by Hayden Williams), and one by Hayden Williams. Another try by tyler Ervin puts Powell well ahead, but too many penalties (including two yellow cards) give Central the chance to catch-up on the score board with 2 other converted tries. An exciting game overall!
